A worrying trend is emerging of people asking for plastic surgery in order to look like a specific celebrity.
Potential cosmetic surgery patients are often asked to mention or bring along pictures of people who have attributes they desire. A woman wanting a breast enlargement might bring along pictures of Keeley Hazel, someone seeking liposuction may mention Jennifer Metcalfe and potential tummy tuck patients could bring along a picture of Megan Fox . An increasing number of people however, are asking to be completely transformed in order to resemble a celebrity in their entirety.
Plastic surgeon Dr Tony Young says “It’s a red flag,” he said. “This person has psychological problems and is not a good candidate for any kind of plastic surgery. Plastic surgery is meant to make you look like a better, younger version of yourself, not to look like somebody else.”
