US No Longer No.1 For Tummy Tuck, Liposuction Plastic Surgery

The USA has traditionally been the country where cosmetic surgery is the most popular, but as liposuction, tummy tuck and other plastic surgery procedures become more widespread across the world, this is now no longer the case.

South Korea has taken the top spot, with 20% of women in the capitol, Seoul, reported to have had some form of cosmetic surgery.  While in the US and Europe, breast enlargement, liposuction and tummy tuck are the most popular, in parts of Asia, double eyelid and chin surgery are the most popular procedures.  In India, weight loss surgery, such as gastric band, have recently seen a large increase.
