Plastic Surgery: European Cosmetic Surgery Standardization To Be Increased,
While some European countries such as the Czech Republic impose stringent regulation on the plastic surgery industry, countries such as the UK do not offer any such protection for potential patients.
President of the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS), Nigel Mercer, informs us that “The UK, as many other countries, has so far failed to put in place adequate regulations or standards to protect the public from unscrupulous providers who are mainly preoccupied with profit,”
BAAPS are working with the European Committie of Standardization and others in an attempt to introduce Europe-wide standards that ensure clients seeking cosmetic surgery such as liposuction, gastric band, breast enlargement or tummy tuck are guaranteed a certain level of care no matter where in Europe they choose to seek surgery.

I cant beleive the UK is behind in this.
I would feel much safer tif there where more legislation.
I would feel safer going abroad than staying in the UK
