New You Magazine Promotes Plastic Surgery, Cosmetic Surgery
A new magazine is being published by The American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery in an attempt to promote their industry and encourage people to go under the knife. Editor JP Faber describes the goal of the magazine, “We are going to educate the public about cosmetic surgery so that they will feel informed and comfortable enough to make a decision. Our goal is to remove the most common fears surrounding cosmetic surgery – as well as making it more attractive. All we have to do to accomplish this is to show the work of AACS doctors.”, adding “so that people who are thinking about it today will take action tomorrow.”
The Glossy magazine, which will be for sale to the public, will feature stories of people who have had plastic surgery such as breast enlargements, tummy tuck, liposuction and gastric band as well as featured surgeons and adverts.

This isnt going to be a very balanced view of plastic surgery is it? They have a vested interest, they cant be journalists too.
I hope they put this magazine on the top shelf with a cover over it.
I think it is good to have a source of information for people who are thinking about getting surgery.
