Most Gastric Band & Tummy Tuck Candidates Aged 20 – 40

Most obese people in the UK are aged between 20 and 40 years old, figures suggest.

Gastric band surgery can provide a solution to obese people who have failed to lose weight through diet and exercise, although only about 1% of obese people currently take advantage of the procedure.

Obesity is thought to be one of the reasons for an increase in cosmetic surgery such as liposuction and tummy tuck.
