A student who won a place at Hull University to study law has been given a nine-month prison term for using a fake identity to get breast enlargement surgery for free, the Daily Mail reported.
Last November, Nina Burmis, 19, used the false name of Jayne Ladylock to arrange a breast enlargement with a cosmetic surgery clinic in Hull.
Burmis forwarded a £500 cheque as a deposit. Prosecutor Nick Adlington told that although the cheque bounced, the breast enlargement went ahead in Manchester on 12 December last year before doubts were raised.
Staff at the cosmetic surgery clinic called police when Miss Burmis missed her post-operative check for her breast enlargement.

Friday, July 31st, 2009Why do the British travel beyond the North Sea for Cosmetic Surgery? A recently conducted survey has revealed that 4 out of 10 Britons will travel abroad to escape NHS waiting lists.
This was the ultimate reason why the British felt it necessary to find cosmetic surgery abroad while 30% decided that the NHS and private health care in the UK was too expensive.
Just over 1 in 4 felt cosmetic surgery including dentistry, liposuction and breast enlargement was more enjoyable when combined with a holiday and 9% chose to get away from their family or work while they recuperated.
