Cosmetic Surgery, Plastic Surgery Prices Cut
We have previously reported on the reduction in the number of plastic surgery procedures over the past year. It seems that the global economic downturn has discouraged people from getting breast augmentation, liposuction, tummy tuck and gastric band procedures. In many cases people are opting for cheaper non-invasive treatments such as injections and chemical peels.
Prior to the downturn in the number of cosmetic surgery procedures their had been a decade long boom. This huge surge in the popularity of plastic surgery was accompanied by wealth of TV shows concerned with the phenomenon. Many of these shows are coming to an end which some believe could also be a factor in the current dip.

Prices go down when something sells more, which plastic surgery has been doing over the last decade. I am not sure you can link lower prices with the recession.
