Chinese Film School Bans Liposuction, Tummy Tuck Plastic Surgery.

A Beijing film school has announced that applicant who have tattoos or have undergone any form of cosmetic surgery will be disqualified from entrance exams.

A spokesperson from the school described the reasoning for the decision, saying, “The changes in their faces or other parts of the body, and the tattoos too, might affect their performance when they are trying to depict a figure in a play,” Producers of the most recent ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ film similarly disqualified applicants who had breast enlargement plastic surgery, even going so far as to put applicants through a series of activities intended to reveal if they were telling the truth.

While cosmetic surgery such as breast enlargement, liposuction and tummy tuck procedures are all banned under the rules, it is unclear if exceptions are made for medically advised or reconstructive plastic surgery.
