The liberal Democrats are calling for all air brushed adverts to be banned. They say that airbrushed adverts are putting more and more pressure on people to look a certain way when really the figures shown in those adverts are nearly impossible to achieve. They are also asking for success rate to be shown on any cosmetic surgery adverts. The scheme is aimed at the media being more “female friendly” and to stop people feeling insecure about their body which could result in eat disorders such as anorexia. What are your views?
