Plastic Surgery, Vanessa Feltz Has Gastric Band Fitted,

TV Presenter Vanessa Feltz has long struggled with her weight and has talked openly about over-eating problem.  Now she has announced that she has opted to have a gastric band fitted in an effort to slim down after her weight reached 16stone 4Lbs.

The BBC London radio presenter said she was sick of being the “poster girl for fat people” and had decided that after trying other methods without success, she would opt for a gastric band to lose weight.  She decided to go public because she did not want to fall into the “Fern Britton Trap”:  Fern Britton kept her own gastric band a secret.

Will Vanessa opt for cosmetic surgery when she loses all her unwanted weight?  Perhaps she will have a tummy tuck, liposuction or breast enlargement?

Cosmetic Surgery, Reality TV Star Kate Gosselin Had Tummy Tuck, Liposuction,

Kate Gosselin rose to fame in the show Jon & Kate Plus 8 which documented the raising of her sextuplets and twins.

After giving birth to her sextuplets she was left with a wrinkley and saggy tummy.  Plastic surgeon Dr. Lawrence Glassman offered to give her a free tummy tuck and she accepted.  She is also thought to have received further plastic surgery in the form of liposuction and breast enlargement.

Many women who give birth or others who lose a considerable amount of weight, for instance after having a gastric band fitted, choose to have a tummy tuck in order to achieve a smooth, flat stomach.

Kate has gone on to star in the new show Kate Plus 8 after divorcing her husband Jon.

Cosmetic Surgery devotee Debrahlee Lorenzana who claimed that Citybank fired her for being “too distracting” to male employees has been accused of being a publicity seeker.

The bank, that Debrahlee has asked the New York State Division of Human Rights to investigate, has said “Although we can’t speak of her previous attention-seeking activities, her current attempts to gain personal publicity are as transparent as her legal claims,” adding “We remain confident that when all of the facts and documentation are presented, the claim will be dismissed.”

Citibank maintain that the former employee was dismissed due to poor performance.

Kelly Rowland Considers Cosmetic Surgery, Liposuction, Tummy tuck,

Former Destiny’s Child singer Kelly Rowland has said that she would consider plastic surgery – if she thought she needed it: “I would never want to lose too much weight,” she said, “I love having curves and a bum [but] if my butt is falling I’m going to pick it up. I’m not against it”

While Kelly is not opposed to cosmetic surgery like liposuction, breast enlargement, tummy tuck or gastric band, she is not a fan of botox: “I’d never have Botox though – no way. I don’t want needles stuck in my face, that’s going to hurt”

Plastic Surgery Prices, NHS Denies Mum Tummy Tuck, Gastric Band Cost,

A woman who lost 16 stones in weight, dropping from 26 stones to 10 stones has been denied cosmetic surgery by the NHS.

The mum of three from Preston has excess skin estimated at about a stone, but she has been turned down for an NHS funded tummy tuck, as the desires surgery is considered cosmetic.  A spokesman for NHS Central Lancashire has said “funding will only be considered if the loose skin is profound and is also causing problems such as intetrigo – a rash that is resistant to all other forms of treatment.”

Spending cuts in the NHS mean that it is becoming increasingly difficult for patients to obtain free plastic surgery such as breast enlargement, liposuction and tummy tuck.
